What to expect?

Hello all

My little boy has been referred to a community paediatrician, as his 2 half year development check flagged up some concerns along with some concerns we have also.

I have been through a lengthy diagnostic process with my 10 year old but given the age difference I'm not sure what to expect this time around. Can anybody whose had a younger child diagnosed tell me about the whole experience and what to expect please?

Thanks very much for your reply. Our almost 10 year old has only recently been diagnosed, after a 3 year battle, and already we have seen such a difference in the way he has been treated at school.

Although I obviously don't want to label our 2 half year old unnecessarily I am so aware of the difficulties he may face without it, and would like to get all the support systems in place for him should he need them.
