Hi my ten year old son is in the process of an Aspergers diagnosis. He won't use the toilets at school despite the SENCO giving him a pass to a private toilet, a photo on reception so he isn't questioned and today even escorting him there! Any one else had same issues and any advice gratefully received

  • mine would not use school toilets until he was in primary 6.its a difficult one,because mine refused on second day of primary 1.but all of a sudden he started to use the toilet at school because he realised he was better comfortable when he did .can your son say why? could be the smells,anxietys about other people around him.would he use the schools disabled toilet where he could be private?
