Been good to hear from any adult ASD diagnosed women in this forum... or does anyone know any good sites for ASD women? What are your experiences?

  • Had a pretty good day at work - I bumped into my old boss and told her my suspicions about ASD.  She wasn’t surprised and told me that my employers may fund assessments for me.  Be good to get the validation- I’ve self diagnosed but it would be good to have the proof.

    Glad meeting your old boss was so positive and affirming.  It would be great if they would. I thoroughly recommend the Lorna Wing Centre if you can get there. Not all providers of assessments are up to date on assessing adult women. So it would worth a bit of time finding out ( maybe even from the Lorna Wing Centre cos they train professionals too) if there is someone experienced in your area. Jumping ahead a little but...
