Autism and can’t read between lines

Anyone 2E and can’t read between lines? Or most have learned? Feel alone. 

Also tired of neurotypicals misunderstanding me and playing mind games. I’m not a bad person just been messed about with. 

Anyone else have issues with people thinking your not autistic when you are and having expectations of neurotypicals because of  the fact you’ve learned so much of thier thinking?

    I experienced that a few years ago, when I began to suspect I was autistic. That came from a friend who only had experience about her husband and son, both poresenting unmasked classic male autism. She had no knowledge of the research about women over the last decade, or of masking. I haven't discussed my diagnosis with her yet and I hope she'd a little more educated now, as she specialises in special needs education. I don't have the same hopes about the general population, who I expect to be stuck with the classic view of what autism is. It doesn't help that so many people repate the lie that "we're all a bit autistic".
