What is happiness and ...

what is contentment?

Do they differ from one another?

I believe they do and I don't think I have ever experienced happiness but I think I've managed to reach contentment in later life.

I think that if you suffer from depression that's an issue but I also suspect that if you take medication for that, as I do, it meddles with 'normal' emotions.

Also, what in life would make you happier or more content?

I have to say that having spent most of my life struggling financially, money helps a lot.

  • I'm happy and content most of the time, although it dosen't take much to knock me off course.

I've experienced being very happy and being very sad too, having experience both is how I know the difference.

I rarely look forward to things as I fear that having an emotional attachment to an event will end up in it going horribly wrong, so I just make a suggestion, create a space and hope something good falls into it.

I'll be a lot happier once my MOT's done, providing I'm not totally skint and the electricians been
