Did you have a happy or unhappy childhood?

This is partly research as I've spoken on another thread about the fact that I don't remember anyone on this forum over the years saying that they had a happy childhood.

Rather a lot of us seem to in particular had very unhappy home lives.

I wonder if that is significant?

  • I actually struggle to remember much of my childhood. I remember certain events and some eras, but little of day to day life. This has always seemed normal to me as it's my only experience, but some people tell me it's unusual. I have wondered if it is related to neurodiversity.
