Teenager starting sertraline

Hi our 13 tear old is starting sertraline tomorrow for anxiety. Has anyone been in this situation and can offer any advice? I'm a bit concerned he'll get side effects and how he'll handle that if he does. But his anxiety is so bad he hasn't been able to go far or out much at all ,see friends or attend school for years.

With him being 13 do keep an eye on him because side there's some side effects mkre likely in adolescence

What I will say is when I started it I was so scared about side effects the only ones I really had where low energy and essesive sweating so hopefully he will be ok

Also keep your gp updated if you need to
