Dear Harriet

How can I get my NT neighbours to stop dropping by and ringing my doorbell without warning? They seem unsure and surprised when I answer the door in my pyjamas with unwashed hair on days when I’m not expecting anyone. Should I post a notice on the door to ring come back in half an hour?

    Thank you for your letter. I think it's largely a training issue. Over time, simply just by being yourself, you will train your local NTs to adjust their expectations of you and to accept you as you are. If they extend this openness to encounters with others, your training will have delivered an act of service to your community!
