Autumn/Fall

We are definitely mid-autumn here, it's cold out, 1.5 degrees on the weather station, and the trees are turning aflame, the fungi have reached the mid point, and the brambles which have been very fruitful due to all the rain, have turned.

We have the 1st prolonged heavy rain day for months.

20! That's like high summer shorts and t-shirts weather round here! The woolies have come out the cupboards and the warmer duvets are on the beds. It feels like the first morning frost is whisperingly close.

I think the climate regions are definitely shifting. Southern England sounds more like France!

Same here and the summer drought has affected farmers very badly here (southern England).

We had the first rain of the year here yesterday.  The temperature still managed to reach 30C in the afternoon.  Our neighbours tell me that the weather has changed significantly over the last 30+ years.  We are no longer getting the prolonged winter rain the farmers need!

I miss a proper cold autumn.

If it were practical I would move to Scotland.
