GP management

I joined a new gp practice and met with the compliance manager for the first time to discuss my needs. She told me autism is not disabling and that my condition is a choice i made. How am I supposed to process this? Is this appropriate behaviour?

I filled in a Patchs request for an update from my surgery on my autism assessment, and the reply said I needed an appointment but there were none available, so try later. Our GP provision in this country has sadly collapsed into uselessness.
