Disturbance from drones

I have just seen on the news that distribution of deliveries by drone are extending to another area. I don't think they could ever do it where I live because they might drop in the wrong garden. However as there is countryside nearby they could fly over. I imagine it could be worse if you moved to live somewhere quiet in the countryside.

What do others think?

  • This morning I saw the BBC story about Amazon using drones.

I don't like the buzzing noise as will be disturbing. I suffer from tinnitus. Slightest noise triggers anxiety.

Drones over a certain weight need to have a licence and pass a theory/practical test. The technology could be hacked into.

Supposed the parcel dropped on a trampoline and bounced in the neighbours garden?

Supposed the parcel dropped into a pond?

What about data protection? Will be deleted afterwards or a certain period e.g 21 days?

    What about breakages or leaks?

Supposed it was dropped at the wrong address?

    Used to shop from amazon.
