Martha Piper and Professor Rebecca Charlton at Goldsmiths, University of London are conducting research to explore the cognitive symptoms of menopause in individuals with and without neurodivergent conditions such as autism and ADHD. Cognitive symptoms, sometimes referred to as "brain fog", can include difficulties with memory, concentration and word finding. There has been very little research to date on this subject, with menopause studies focussing on more well-known symptoms such as hot flushes. This study will add to the existing research by considering the types, attitudes towards and impacts of cognitive symptoms, as well as how neurodivergent people experience them.

We would like to invite people who have experience of cognitive symptoms of menopause to take part. Taking part involves a one-on-one interview with a member of the research team via Microsoft Teams. The interviewer will ask you about your experiences of cognitive symptoms during menopause. As compensation for your time during the interview, you will be given a shopping voucher worth an amount equivalent to £30 per hour.
