Wow. Young people are getting mean

I don't know if I am getting too kind in my old age or just soft, everything seems kind of agressive and based on lies. I am always curious to know others vibes of the times we live through, I suppose this is all a normal part of aging and the World is on a kind of endless repeat with minor improvements.

  • I think being mean is ageless, its a human thing. People of all ages seem less patient & much less tolerant. A smile used to go a really long way. Basic manners are still free no ones charging anyone to be polite.

    I agree being mean seems ageless. My friend and I recently accidentally ended up in the first class section of a train we had being running to catch. It was all older people in the carriage, and they gave us the most awful looks before we realised out mistake. But I'm sure they were thinking how rude we were as young people disturbing their journey. Maybe sometimes it's a them vs us mindset/lack of understanding rather than anyone being rude/mean on purpose

    I think you're right, people make judgements about others for such small things, like age, what clothes you wear etc.
