Wow. Young people are getting mean

I think being mean is ageless, its a human thing. People of all ages seem less patient & much less tolerant. A smile used to go a really long way. Basic manners are still free no ones charging anyone to be polite.

I agree being mean seems ageless. My friend and I recently accidentally ended up in the first class section of a train we had being running to catch. It was all older people in the carriage, and they gave us the most awful looks before we realised out mistake. But I'm sure they were thinking how rude we were as young people disturbing their journey. Maybe sometimes it's a them vs us mindset/lack of understanding rather than anyone being rude/mean on purpose

Yes. Some days I run a general risk assessment and come to the conclusion its dangerous out there. But mostly because of poor communication and lack of mutual respect over pure malevolence.
