Universal Benefits

With AI taking so many jobs, especially at entry level and things like supermarkets etc, do you think there should be a universal benefit to compensate for the loss of jobs and careers?

  • I’m in favour of a ‘Universal Basic Income for all. 

    It would mean that nobody would go without enough money to meet their basic needs to function in society and it would go part of the way to restoring dignity to all. Benefits for sickness/disability/unemployment/pension etc would be added. 

    Too many people are out of work because there aren’t enough suitable jobs, but some politicians choose to distort the reason why many people receive benefits.
