Assessment yesterday

• Report will come through next week so I'm going to just leave things settle and not do anything about anything untill then. I will have a follow up appointment with the assessment service just to process eveything in a month or so. Could have been sooner but due to my work its better I wait a while...which I think helps me to let it settle in my mind for a bit first to be honest. I think a bit of time to process it is what I need now.

So it's official. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed if I'm honest. Not in a panicky, really anxious way, more numb and unsure what to feel. 

Well, one advice I’ve got is read Dr. Megan Neff’s “Self-Care for Autistic People.” It’s a great book that’s easy to read and it gives some great pointers on how to manage everyday life when you are on the spectrum.

Hopefully. I haven't had it offically confirmed yet but highly likely I will tomorrow. Not sure how long untill the report itself will come through but I got the impression it wouldn't be long.

After 4 years I thought I was ready for this diagnosis! I dont think I am. Any advice on what to do as I move forward is appreciated.
