Does anyone have any advice on how best to disclose a diagnosis to an employer? I'm not sure how best to broach it.

If you don't need them to change anything, then don't say anything.
If you need some adjustments, see which ones are reasonable and possible and see if you could get them just by normal negotiation. You might be ok just with a change of mindset and not taking everything so personally or treating it as so important.
Think carefully about whether to tell them. You can't untell them.
They may consider you less able, so while you may or may not get accommodations, it may make things awkward in the future.
If there are other people at your place who have said and are treated ok, then go ahead. You will have to judge it and guess how it may be received.
You could test the water first, by asking how they feel about neuro divergence or autism, or if they know anybody. It will depend on what they think it is. They may be dismissive or have negative views.
Hi - congratulations on your recent diagnosis and welcome to the community!

I'm in this position myself currently. The way I'm approaching it, I'm still asking myself the question "How will it benefit me?" - in other words, what accomodations do I want / am I likely to get them, etc.
Once I'm ready (assuming it makes sense), I'll probably talk to my manager first, I get on with him well - then take it from there.
Others may have better advice / more experience in this.
