ADHD coaching

I dont know whether I can talk about ADHD on this website? There is a massive overlap with Autistic people also having ADHD.

 Anyway my question is, has anyone had coaching to help them with their ADHD, at work?

  • Yes I have. It was helpful to me whilst I was having it and they did help me change jobs but apart from that I don't think it left me with any meaningful long term affect. I did it through access to work.

  • not yet - but I have an Access to Work request in, I submitted the claim in Nov 2025 (there's a 30 week wait) when I applied I only had my Autism diagnosis but now have ADHD - yes 50+% of Autistics are AuDHD but <20% of ADHDers are Autistic.  So think you're fine raising this here - there may be AuDHD forums but like many I've got limited time to keep up with forums

    I've heard mixed reviews of people who had coach via  ATW or A2W (as I saw the other day) - but at least it's paid for by the Gov

    There's seems to be more ADHD Coaches and people after making a buck in the ADHD market with Apps etc - than there is for Autism
