UC MIGRATION

Has anyone been given reasonable adjustments so that they can migrate to UC. Without going into detail I currently cannot use a computer and the only option is the phone but not sure if that comes with problems. Please let me know if anyone did a phone application with, or without RA's in place.

  • You can go to CAB or another local organisation for help, I went through all this a couple of months back and someone helped me go all through it and organised the phone call and everything, expalined that I don't really do tech, have no smart phone etc and it all went through smoothly

    Thanks for your response. Re the phone, I've read that there are long waits 40 mins to get through when necessary - have they called you, or have you had to call them?

    It was all arranged by the person at the help centre I went to, one time the benefits people did need to phone and that was all arranged so I new to be at home and where I could access any documents I needed.

    I felt much safer having someone else guide me through it and cut through all the questions that seem designed to catch you out or trip you up, their pressence also means that nobody can pressure you because of your ND.
