Isolated

I haven't spoken to anyone in two weeks.

Not sure what the longest is this year (probably three weeks).

I haven't been out anywhere apart from the supermarket this week as i figured traipsing through rush hour traffic just to walk round in circles for an hour was a bit pointless. But I did go in to the city centre today since the sun was out. My back, neck and wrists have all been hurting because I spend most of the time sat here doing nothing.

I'm doubtful I'll speak to anyone else (properly) before the new year. Not much happens around Christmas.

  • I haven't spoken to anyone in two weeks.

That is a long time by most standards - was it through choice or is there nobody else in your life at the moment?

I can sometimes go a week at a time without having more than a greeting with people I know in the gym, local restaurant, supermarket etc but this is through choice.

This week I made a concious decision to get on a mainstream dating app - it is kind of daunting but good practice for me to work on the conversational skills and on my self confidence.

I'm doubtful I'll speak to anyone else (properly) before the new year.

My plans for Christmas have fallen through this year as my family are all travelling (was it something I said?) so I'll be on my own.

Maybe we should have a NAS Christmas session here and chat away, share how bad or good our homemade food is and cheer each other up.

I've never been a big fan of New Years Eve parties - too exhausting and late for my tastes and I always get dragged into the after party cleanup for some reason (probably because I'm not drunk like the rest).

Lets make our own, low demands Christmas get together!
