Hi all, I’m fairly new here and was wondering if you all chat privately in pm’s here or just use the forum?

I didn't know you could do PM's, so I just use this forum
Things the best way I had just wondered why there wasn’t so many people and had assumed it was possibly because they all have their own friends they speak to privately. Apps etc I think by now have their own support network of friends established and that’s why I think they are quiet. I’m probably wrong. I don’t know. Take care

Hey this Jason do like the jaguars or the steelers
You are quite correct in your assumptions Ava (based on my experience(s) here. A couple of years ago, NAS made a number of fundamental changes here and most of the "regular" folk (who had been here for ages and ages) decided it was no longer appropriate/worthwhile/safe being here. I am a fossil here.....from those olden times! ......but 99% of my communications with folk i met here are now conducted elsewhere!!
Notwithstanding the above, I still pop back to catch up with some of the interesting and diverse autistic folk who once regularly and actively contributed here. This ain't a bad place to be! And to answer your question=yes.....I now virtually always ONLY communicate with such folk by PM because we don't understand what we can safely say/contribute here without risk of falling foul of the moderators and/or "some" folk/members/ex-moderators who troll here to enforce their version of "reality" for autists.
I hope you can stay here and find connection with others. I think it is harder for everyone here now, but it need not be impossible.
Warm regards to you and for your autistically enquiring question. Viva la difference!!
