Hi all, I’m fairly new here and was wondering if you all chat privately in pm’s here or just use the forum?

Where does one go to get PM's? Oh I see you hover over someone profile picture, not somethng that I do very often and not the place where I would of though to look. Where does one go to see if any friend requests are accepted?
I do hope you stay Elfilis, you are one of my favourite contributors! I like your 3 good things as you are normally playing something in interested in!
I'm very sorry if my recent post upset you, where I asked whether to go or not speak with one family about my experience. I didn't mean to upset anyone and I don't mind any response doesn't matter if it comes from a parent or a child free person. I'm also far from commenting on someone having or not having children wether it's a choice or not.
I'm thinking maybe it's better if I delete my profile although I'm here for quite a long time
"people who don’t have kids (aka me) aren’t allowed to respond or use the forum"
This isn't the case. There are plenty of discussions that don't involve kids at all. I don't tend to engage with the kids posts a lot because, despite having a child who I believe is autistic, many of the challenges posted about are not ones faced by my child. Some people do post a question and disappear but I see that as just desperately seeking help so if there is anything I can say that might help them, it doesn't really worry me if they respond or not. They might have read it and found something useful and that's enough.
I’m trying not to engage much with the parents as well, unless their situation is very similar to mine (ex. if they’re Autistic with an Autistic child). Reason being, just as you said, they tend not to stick around. It feels like most of them are here not to get advice, but rather just to complain about their circumstances.
