Rapport with clinical psychologist assessing

I had first session of autism assessment last Tuesday. The psychologist that was there said the session was all about establishing a rapport. Ironically the one thing I came away thinking was that I have no confidence in her and actually find her intensely annoying. I don't think she knew that I didn't like her. I don't think she actually 'got me' at all. She would summarise things I said completely having missed the point. As she said the session was about establishing rapport I'm wondering if carrying on with the sessions is going to be of any value at all.

So,

Is rapport with the person important to the process or do I just tolerate her for the remaining sessions?

Thanks
