Can I ask how having the diagnosis hinders your life?

Headache to deal with for jobs. it'd be easier just to undiagnose to go through less of a hassle with such things.

As you write that Autism doesn't affect you, then you would not require any reasonable adjustments, so there should be no reason why you should ever need to disclose it to your employer(s).

Even if it were a problem, you could have a doctor write a report on what adjustments you need and that report does not have to disclose the underlying reason. In that case, the employer might refer you to their own doctor to confirm the need for adjustments and that doctor cannot reveal the underlying reason either without your permission.
