  • Good morning A,

Well, I guess that's "their" colours firmly nailed to the Titanic....or perhaps the "Titan" submersible....to be more up-to-date?!

Earlier this year, I wanted to be sure that my increasing whining about COMMUNITY wasn't actually becoming part of the problem/problems that had become alarmingly evident in this place, at that time (to me) and that were undoubtedly, and unequivocally evident in the rapidly decreasing "numbers," diversity and activity levels here.

As you know, it is my opinion that "we people" need time and space to just to allowed to be here, in the diverse company of other autists, without fear or favour of being corrected, lectured, attacked and "advised" all the time.  We should all be entitled to just chat.....about whatever...hold opinions and express them.....in whatever terminology we choose, within the rules...in peace and privacy (if desired)....in my opinion.

As a "numbers man"......I had satisfied myself that my whining hadn't been a "material contribution" to the ever decreasing attendance and activity here.....many months ago.  I've just observed......until recently, when I saw something that prevented my continuing silence....then another thing.....then Roy left?!

Based on what I have witnessed in the last week or so here......the problem(s) run very deep, and VERY high!!  I simply cannot interpret the "rules" in the same way as SOME others here, evidently do......and that makes it unsafe for me here.

I don't think that anyone can do anything......management here continues to demonstrate their determination to stick on their current "pathway" of policies and decisions.  So be it.  It's sad for people of difference though, who need ACTUAL help and want ACTUAL human company in a safe and diverse environment.  I hope those people (our people) will be able to find it somewhere, in their times of need.

    Have a good afternoon A.

I've have better things to do.
