Thank you for the link but it really didn't cover the main question how would my life change by getting the diagnosis.

Unless you need it to assess support needs to get benefits or help, it won't change anything practical unless you change something 

If you don't need external validation and are happy with self diagnosis because you are sure, then it will not add much.

If you need to know, to avoid imposter syndrome, then it helps.

Change will generally come from you, in terms of accommodations you make and being kinder to yourself,.

If you have already made all your changes, don't need anything, have no doubts and have already read everything then don't bother.
