I just had a look at the last notes made on my medical records. I seem to be having an episode!
If it bothers you, I’d suggest just reading “Episode” as meaning “Diagnosis”.
Medical professionals who see it will, of course, know that autism is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition, not an episodic one.
If the preset coding label just makes you chuckle, then I completely understand and found it funny, too. I’d have preferred “Ongoing Saga”, myself!
