One thing I've noticed about the life partner thing is that while shared interests are nice, shared values are probably more important. My NT wife and I share a few interests, but share a whole lot of values. For example, we both have this "justice and fairness" trait in abundance and we both value independence. We tend to agree about most things, but we accept each other's independence to make our own choices, even if we don't quite agree.
So, I think having the same value about the importance of children to you is very important, but if you meet someone nice who thinks that "trains are boring" (or whatever), don't let it put you off!
