Can anyone shed anymore light on this please

In my assessment paper work there is a line which I think I know what it means but there’s a lot more well informed individuals here so you may be able to define it better for me or have more information. It’s a short sentence but it reads as follows;

“Based on the clinical presentation during the assessment”

what would this be communicating to the reader?

Parents Reply Children
  • Based on the clinical presentation during the assessment and the information in the pre-assessment questionnaires, it is my opinion that ** fulfils the DSM-5 criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder. The difficulties have been longstanding, starting in childhood, impactingvarious areas of their life and they cannot be explained by a Learning Disability or Global Developmental Delay.

  • This is word for word at the beginning of my report

    Based on the information from the diagnostic methods, and our clinical observations, we conclude that ***** does fulfill the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder ASD. This is because he presents with longstanding difficulties in social communication, limited eye contact and challenges with reciprocal interaction. He shows ridged routines, intense interests, sensory sensitivities and a history of masking and emotional distress, all consistent with ASD.
