Diagnosis report wait time.

Does anyone know the timescale for receiving the written report after an NHS autism assessment. I’ve been waiting just over a month, I have emailed the centre, but haven’t heard anything back yet.

  • It was about 10 weeks after assessment to hear about the diagnosis, and then the detailed report I got 5/6 months later, but I had to keep chasing it up because they had a backlog. Depends what area you’re in. I know that wait can be tough though. Interestingly I still haven’t read all mine, found it too uncomfortable to read.
