Diagnosis report wait time.

Does anyone know the timescale for receiving the written report after an NHS autism assessment. I’ve been waiting just over a month, I have emailed the centre, but haven’t heard anything back yet.

Thanks, apparently the person who sends the reports has been on annual leave. I keep peeking at the report and reading small amounts.

Hi,
I was diagnosed Feb this year and mine took about 4 weeks to come. Hope this helps.

Mine was a letter 2-3 weeks afterwards. It went to me and my GP.

It was about 10 weeks after assessment to hear about the diagnosis, and then the detailed report I got 5/6 months later, but I had to keep chasing it up because they had a backlog. Depends what area you’re in. I know that wait can be tough though. Interestingly I still haven’t read all mine, found it too uncomfortable to read.

I can tell you that l received my Autism Assessment Report by email, two weeks after the Diagnosis. Also, a copy got sent to the GP.
