Does anyone else struggle with mornings ? Feeling down or disconnected
I like the night. It is peaceful and quiet and you can concentrate. I used to wonder about it, but maybe it is the reduced sensory input I liked. I always went to bed at 1 or 2, and if there was no work the next day as late as 4 or 5am. Obviously this made me not so good at 7 or 8 am
Anyway, in an attempt to improve my sleeping I have been falling asleep at 10 or 11pm. I still wake up after 5-6 hrs, same as I have done for decades. So now at 5 I feel the same as at 8 or 9 before.
I'm not sure I'm really a morning person. But as was written on school report 42 years ago, I can't burn the candle at both ends.
