Struggling To Go Out And Make Friends

I've been diagnosed as Syndrome Asperges and have autism I am 30 years old living in Auckland, New Zealand.

I honestly find it really hard to go out and meet new friends and also struggling socially as well like running out of things to say. (Could be why I don't have friends).

I usually just sit alone and game in my room and I hardly go out and I don't have any hobbies and find it hard to get interested into a hobby.

So what do I do?

  • Oh Auckland, that’s a pretty big city, ain’t it? That’s the funny thing about cities; You can live near tons of people, but feel even more isolated than living in a small town. How’s your ability to manage transportation or public transit?

‘s idea of a gaming café is brilliant. At least here in the States many towns have game stores that serve a huge variety of hobbies: Pokémon cards, video games, Warhammer, D&D, Magic the Gathering, etc. If you can manage transit okay and can find one of these stores, I’d also recommend you check one out.
