Struggling To Go Out And Make Friends

I've been diagnosed as Syndrome Asperges and have autism I am 30 years old living in Auckland, New Zealand.

I honestly find it really hard to go out and meet new friends and also struggling socially as well like running out of things to say. (Could be why I don't have friends).

I usually just sit alone and game in my room and I hardly go out and I don't have any hobbies and find it hard to get interested into a hobby.

So what do I do?

  • Are there any gaming cafes near you? We have spaces like this in our city and it tends to attract all sorts of our people. You may find people there with similar interest that you can talk more easiily to. Our gaming cafe is for tabletop games and I've not been yet, but if you're into games then something like that may be a place to start. Blush If you're on Facebook then you may be able to find local groups in your area that do this.
