The Grand National has claimed another victim, a horse that collapsed on the track, but later seemed to recover died during the night. How much longer will this cruel insanity go on?

I wonder if we'd be classed as townies who don't understand the countryside, like we were in the fox hunting debate?
Probably i despised Fox hunting too. We just need to treat animals with respect, and look after them. I have tried being vegetarian but failed badly. My diet and tastes are too limited.. I was making myself ill.

Thanks for the tip O&U most oif the time my food habits make no sense, its a combination of smell, texture and appearance or even things I have seen/heard in relation to the food. I remember as a child I used to love fig biscuits then I saw a programme on TV which showed some kind of wasp thing living inside a fig. That was it, I have never eaten figs again! I am sure there are people worst than me but I know I am very restricted :)
it often give me gastrointestinal issues
You might try the quorn mince. As with any mince, the fact that you are consuming a less fibrous product should make it easier to digest, and I haven't ever noticed a digestive problem after eating it. In fact, you'd not really notice it wasn't meat if put in a chili or lasagne.
I'm quite happy to take the blame should it not be to your liking!
Thanks for the cooking and food tips. I am really fussy eater. Unfortunately if I can manage to eat some stuff it often give me gastrointestinal issues. I have a limited range of things that I stick to which I know I can stomach. I’m really bad with food things and very specific.
Have you tried the frozen veggie/soya mince? I get mine from tesco, I can pretty much everything I could do with meat mince, bolognaises, curries, chilli's etc. I use quorn pieces in a thai style curry, I guess you could use it in anything that you'd normally use chicken for, except a roast of course. I also use quorn sausages in things like toad in the hole. Maybe you could make a few swaps and eat less meat in a less scary way, if thats what you want to do.
