Another horse dies

The Grand National has claimed another victim, a horse that collapsed on the track, but later seemed to recover died during the night. How much longer will this cruel insanity go on?

  • The poor animal, and the jockey pushed it on when the helpless thing was struggling. I think the jockey is being prosecuted or fined by the racing authorities. I had to skim read that bit of the news as it is too distressing. Some people have no appreciation for the suffering of animals, even when it is clearly visible. Not all these people are autistic, and clearly, there is much empathy in the autistic community.
