Right to Choose 2nd Opinion

Yes I read this which is why I thought a 2nd opinion was an option but GP says not. 

Keep in mind that, per the NAS's advice: "If you disagree with the outcome of the assessment, you may want to raise your concerns directly with the team of professionals who assessed you. You can consider requesting a second opinion by going to your GP if you have had an assessment through the NHS."

One of the various Right to Choose providers advises as follows on their website, in respect of autism assessments:

"Q: I have had an assessment and have not been diagnosed with ASD. I want a second opinion. Can I use RTC?

A: You can seek a second opinion through Right to Choose, but if you have previously been assessed by a different provider, we will require your GP to provide us with the previous report and related correspondence.

However, please note that if your assessment was performed by Psychiatry UK, we cannot offer you a second opinion under RTC through our service."
