3 Good Things (again)

1. Drove to Newcastle, County Down, and back today; enjoying the beauty of the Mourne Mountains in the distance, in spite of my hyperfocus on the road.

2. Leah came back, an hour ago, after being away all day long.

3. My mechanic recommended a Locksmith, who could give me a replacement car key - plus an spare, whom I'll see on Friday. (MY key's damaged to breaking point)

I like this.

1) My dog - his existence in my life

2) My partner bought me a speks magnetic fidget toy and its is truly brilliant

3)Finding this forum so I can have someone to talk to

Squirrels (despite desecrating the garden)

Spring.

Hope.

1. Got the new Doves LP, from the record shop in town, as I requested the owner to order it; for me.

2. Got the 20% Discount plan, for my electricity provider, sorted; the new plan starts the end of April.

3. Switched default browser, on my Mac, to Firefox; after Brave crashed, big time, on it an hour ago.

Got new clothes from Primark

1. Bought more slouch-shirts, joggers and socks; at Dunne's.

2. Had spuds and steak, for dinner, using my Air Fryer.

3. Leah caught her first mouse.

1. Unblocked my kitchen sink; thanks to boiled water, from the kettle.

2. Fitted in a plug, on Wednesday evening, for the fan I got a few years back; first time I ever fitted a plug.

3. Waiting for a replacement ignition switch; for my car. God willing it'll be ready this evening.

Not so clear and beautiful (from a photographic stand point) ...... but you get the idea!

3. I said no to a F2F catch up with a neighbour yesterday and saying no is hard for me.

1. Squirrels feeding (upside down) on the bird-feeder.....hanging from a bar, gripping with just their toes!

2. The soft and white under-belly of a squirrel......and who knew.....they have nipples!!   [I won't enter gender distinction territory here!!]

3. The decidedly "cheeky/knowing" look a squirrel will "shoot you" when stealing the BIRD feed that you put out for the BIRDS!!!

i cant think of 2 other things 

1. The neighbour's trees have been cut down today. Hopefully no more birds flying into the windows!
2. Managed to get another job interview. Fingers crossed!
3. I came up with a new idea for making my puppy's chew more appealing when he's distracted/frustrated at day care.

Today, I planted my herbs. I will plant my flowers soon, which I got for free from the RHS website. 

Sunshine 

Saw people I know today who said good morning. 

1. I had my favourite snack today, a margarine flapjack 

2. It was sunny and warm today 

3. I made plans for when I’m next going to see my partner

1. I got eggs, from a kiosk outside town.

2. I collected my friend's emergency prescription of painkillers; which were due on Saturday.

3. When my ignition switch gave up the ghost, even with WD40, I managed to get a tow from a Recovery man from my village. (Found out his Grandfather farmed half a mile away from my old family home)
