3 Good Things (again)

As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?

1.  My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.

2.  I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.

3.  Home and having a curry tonight Blush

Parents
  • Love this thread.

    1. Ran a Lego club session and kept 14 children happy for 60 minutes. One child had never allowed their parent to leave before. Knowing they felt safe and happy also led me to tears thinking about how a young me would have felt exactly the same.
    2. I will co-run a Lego build and print session on Thursday night, for adults. Pre-diagnosis (I want to use the term 'qualification' instead of diagnosis), I was wrought with anxiety about passing as neurotypical. Why? I bet no-one was convinced, or cared! Now I feel electricity in my chest with how I can support builders' growing confidence.
    3. I found an ally offline who has a lot of autistic persons in their family, and my emotional outpouring about the experience of qualification* was beautifully accommodated by them. I felt understood and protected. Slight smile
