3 Good Things (again)

As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?

1.  My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.

2.  I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.

3.  Home and having a curry tonight Blush

  • 1. Went on a long run with friends this morning and ACTUALLY LEFT once I got overstimulated.

    2. Bought a speaker for my shower time so I can blast my favorite podcast literally everywhere I go now.

    3. Finally found a comfy pair of shoes (fingers crossed) after months of searching—for reference, I work in a place that sells shoes and I still couldn’t get the right feel until now. Athletic shoe

  • 2. Speaker - I hadn't thought of an IP-rated speaker for a bathroom before.

  • I have sourced a rechargeable waterproof Bluetooth speaker which appears to match my requirements list and I am testing out its capabilities today.

I found one which seems small / robust enough (one which is a metal body case rather than plastic, plus a keyring style carry case) to also take out and about visiting places outdoors / to use when travelling, or staying away somewhere too.

Because I wanted to be happy to travel with it; I set my budget limit to £20 (hoping that the 4.5 out of 5 stars (48,415) review data proves to be mostly accurate!):

My thinking being; then you should be able to use it at home / in the garden, plus, e.g. working on my allotment - while still keeping my smartphone secure and dry.

I have previously tried various styles of Bluetooth: separate ear buds / those ear buds with a wire round the back of your neck / over the ear headphones / fabric headbands with inbuilt speakers e.g. while physically working on the allotment - but I find that level of physical gardening makes things on / ears feel a real nuisance or ear buds are prone to dropping out as you are hoeing weeds etc..

I also have previously tried on the allotment a solar / windup radio ...with disappointing sound quality results and they are a bit bulky / heavy to carry with you too
