3 Good Things (again)

As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?

1.  My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.

2.  I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.

3.  Home and having a curry tonight Blush

  • Being persistent and trying again after failure.

    1. I accidentally sat on my glasses and they broke, the lens fell out and one of the screws snapped inside with the screw head falling off.  I went to one optician who said they were beyond repair and nothing could be done.  I went to another optician five minutes down the road and he repaired it free of charge.
    2. I applied for a DHP, Discretionary Housing Payment because universal credit does not fully cover my rent.  I got turned down.  I carefully read their reasons for turning me down and re-applied the next month.  I was granted DHP for the next six months.
    3. I asked my GP for a sick/fit note because I'm suicidal.  He gave me one for the next three months.
