3 Good Things (again)

As it can take a looong time for faults to be remedied, I thought this could fill in for now?

1.  My Vabysmo eye injection this afternoon at the hospital.

2.  I wore my 'hidden disabilities' thingy around my neck.

3.  Home and having a curry tonight Blush

  • Today so a tough one. Actually I’m thinking I may need to leave where I live and start again (will be seeking advise on this one!).

    - I stood up for myself.

    Warning - rant/story

A friend of my daughters stayed over last night. I told the kids I’d take them to McDonalads if they got up /dressed we could walk down at 9am. Suggested several times and was ignored (rude!),  and really. So, boundary set they didn’t get to go (we didn’t have time).

the Mum came to collect. I said no McDonalds. She agreed. I then caught her with my daughtr and hers there 5 mins later (I’m not a stalker was there validly - too long to explain).

I felt it was totally deceptive, she lied to me, and encouraged my daughter to go along…when I said no - not ok. Torallt undermined me as a parent and said it’s ok to do what you want. The woman’s a cop.

i addressed it with her well, explaining why it wasn’t ok with me, and that I’d rather she have said she wanted to take them rather than just agree with me, then go against that zany face

I’m really quite outraged and don’t and my child hanging out with her / her daughter. It’s a really tough one from a parenting perspective. But boy, was I the mature one not letting myself feel/be walked over without saying something (old style)

    - went to Kent today and enjoyed a walk. Wiped me out (people wise) but was good

    - bought myself an iced latte
