Hi and welcome to the community!
Therapy is often recommended after a diagnosis as a follow up action for your GP to arrange. However, you might find first it helpful to borrow or buy this book, which includes discussion of various types of therapy and counselling, together with advice on choosing the right therapist or counsellor - all from an autistic person's viewpoint. Several of us here have found it very helpful, myself included:
The Autistic Survival Guide to Therapy
I've personally not got on very well with CBT, but have found benefit from counselling with an NHS counsellor who not only has experience in supporting neurodivergent clients, but is also neurodivergent.
I feel that this element - having a therapist or counsellor with experience of dealing with autistic and/or ADHD clients - is really important.
If you're in England, you can also refer yourself for therapy directly. More information and instructions are provided here:
ADHD can be treated by medication. Autism is not really treatable as such, but aspects of its presentation and associated problems (such as anxiety and depression) can respond to medication, or to some talking therapies, such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT).
