List of forum faults part 2

I hope it wont come to that because I really like being apart of this forum. It’s just stressful when it doesn’t work properly. I hope after the site maintenance it’s better.

I've thought about leaving as well but this site is my only form of communication with others, other than my family. I feel accepted here as well, like I belong-something I don't get any where else. Thank you for the email. I have emailed my ongoing problems here, and copied this page in to the email just in case they feel they need to see it in case anyone else reports any problems.

Like CatWoman said, I hope the maintenance coming up fixes some or preferably all of the problems. It makes using this site really difficult and can be stressful at times.

.....but perhaps some of the "usefulness" of this place is seeing how others think, feel and behave....AND....observing how the tech side 'works/doesn't' too?

This place is an experience! 

It allows me to see how various tribes/individual people operate......and even allows the bots and trolls to showcase their wares ....and allows the experience of doing this "almost-social-media-communication".

I think this place helps me build up some resilience and stamina too, being subjected to "difference" that we can't seem to understand....or in some cases...can't even seem to tolerate. 

This place is a curiosity.....that keeps me abreast of things that I would naturally avoid contact with, IRL......with the added bonus of the very occasional "forever friend" appearing from the mist....a generally, all good souls.

HQS, Please can you write proper words and not text abbreviations such as thx, for me, being dyslexic and having other learning difficulties it makes reading your posts very difficult as I have to decipher and translate them?

Tbh I'm at the end of my tether. (What's keeping me here?) So now it seems actual human users are being targeted by anti-spambot software while bots and the like are still getting through. The iceberg was hit months ago. Now all I see are a handful of musicians still playing.

Edit. I am well aware these are things which were requested in the upgrade. But it's frustrating when they are over used in the wrong places and under used in what they were meant for.

All my messages, including pms, are going into moderation for no reason. And yes, the moderators are trying to censor what we write about them/the forum. I think I might stop using the forum.

It's absurd to lock the original thread when these problems still persist.

These are very long term problems since a forum 'upgrade'.

We will continue to haemorrhage contributors if they aren't sorted.

Poss bugs I found/get affected by

• Orange box appearing saying about spam and then having to write an appeal
• Messages I write not being sent even tho it is sent, just never appears afterwards, and then I have to write it all over again
• If I post an image 90% of the time it won't appear even tho size is absolutely fine
• My friend messaged me thru PM this week and the notificiations didn't work. When I was sent a friend request no notification, if alien hadn't told me about it I wouldn't have known.

Be good if these were fixed, particular the notifications as I miss so much BC of it.

New members have mentioned in threads having problems.

I think faults (especially the overactive spam filter) are still happening and driving people away.
