"There are more shapes than circles or squares". True. My opinion is this sort of stuff is important to us, or the people around us, but for the vast majority, it isn't. I don't know where all this will eventually end. Individual needs for absolutely everyone cannot be catered for across the majority of society. The best way I find, is to make my own adjustments within myself.
Several of us have been discussing adjustments at work and everyone has agreed that most of those adjustments would benefit everyone, not just ND people, and most of them don’t have any cost impact. Obviously this is easier in my line of work than if I worked in say a retail environment or a factory, but there is much that can be done across the board with little impact.
I do agree and I think it's only until conditions start to affect the majority (which it will one day), will other changes be made. I'm pleased you have been discussing adjustments at work!
