I used to be very much a night owl. But since receiving my autism diagnosis, I've worked hard to build - and stick to - a healthier sleep routine that leaves me feeling much better rested, and less tired and irritable.
Doing that was among the recommendations in my diagnosis report, and also in the first autism self-care book that I bought following my diagnosis.
