List of what is currently wrong with the forum

I was wondering if most people who contribute here are fine with no current problems, so I thought a list might be useful.

I'm rather despairing at the moment of its brokenness and absence of communication from NAS about a timescale (or anything) for sorting these.

It's making me wonder whether to bother any longer.

1. I know that   has a message coming up in orange at the top saying his account may/will be deleted.

2. I keep being logged out (orange banner at the top with a seconds countdown).

Is anyone else getting anything still (or even unable to use their original account?).

Has anything been sorted?

Thanks.

  • I don't know if it is possible for governments to prevent harmful information

Governments are often good at spreading misinformation themselves.

Think of the Brexit campaign - government led and the lies they told in the guise of information was appalling.

Where it suits their agenda they can be very good at releasing partial or misleading information on a regular basis to make them look less incompetent too.

  • I think we need a regulator, to at least attempt to try and protect people, especially the young from harmful content, they way that you  can go from inocent to dangerous in so few steps is shocking on many social media platforms and people like Zuckerberg need to step up and clean up thier platforms.

As for this site the members currently online needs fixing it seems waver all over the place.

  • That is the frustrating thing as I don't know if it is possible for governments to prevent harmful information. My concern is how young people can be protected and fake information causing even more serious problems.
