Next US health secretary: “autism comes from vaccines”

As reported in this BBC news article: "One of his main false claims - repeated in a 2023 interview with Fox News, was that “autism comes from vaccines”."

And from Sky News: "Mr Kennedy is a known vaccine sceptic who has repeated misinformation on multiple occasions, including the discredited theory that childhood immunisations cause autism."

As we know, and as stated by the CDC in the US:

"Q: Do vaccines cause autism spectrum disorder (ASD)?

A: Many studies have looked at whether there is a relationship between vaccines and ASD. To date, the studies continue to show that vaccines are not associated with ASD."

  • I had recently heard about this whilst watching the news.

When I read the Sky News article you have linked to, I found it almost laughable when I read this:
RFK Jr will "restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research

If this is true, then with any luck it will only be a matter of time until RFK Jr finally accepts what the studies have proven to date (that vaccines don't cause ASD).
