Recently diagnosed at 67 looking to make friends

New beginning

Hi there this is my first time posting on here.My name is Gary and I am 67 years old feeling quite isolated and looking for new connections friends

  • I was also late diagnosed aged 53 in 2021, I'm still learning about my traits.  The friends that I thought I had laughed at me when I told them, they seem to think I don't look autistic. Anyway I don't have friends in my life anymore only family. At least in the group we can be ourselves.

    How is it going with learning about your traits ? It’s a lot to take in,digest,wade through in my mind ! I have my feedback session tomorrow regarding my diagnosis which I received about 2 weeks ago.I have been doing some reading on masking and I think I have got a lot of work ahead ! 
    I don’t have any friends at the moment.I have been looking online but can’t seem to find any groups locally but I will continue working on finding something hopefully
