Recently diagnosed at 67 looking to make friends

I was also late diagnosed aged 53 in 2021, I'm still learning about my traits.  The friends that I thought I had laughed at me when I told them, they seem to think I don't look autistic. Anyway I don't have friends in my life anymore only family. At least in the group we can be ourselves. 

You don't look autistic, what on earths that supposed to mean? What do autistic people look like or rather how are we supposed to look to NT's? Sorry that wasn't aimed at you but at the ignorance of people who think you can see things like ASC.
